Children's & Family Events in Kingswood

Our fun and engaging events for children are made to inspire a lifelong love of reading.

Expect storytime with real-life mermaids, hands-on crafting sessions, teddy bears' picnics, and character mornings full of songs, stories and music. We run two strands: gentle sessions for babies and toddlers, and bigger adventures for children aged 6 and up.

Tickets start from £3, each event runs around an hour to 90 minutes, and spaces are deliberately small so every child gets a proper look-in.

They tend to book up, so it's worth grabbing a spot early!

We host intimate evenings with authors, for a chance to hear the story behind the book, ask your questions, and have your copy signed.

Most author nights are ticketed, with the option to add the book to your order, so you've got it ready to sign on the night.

Sessions last for around 60 to 90 minutes, and seats are limited by the size of the shop, so early booking is wise.
