Shipping policy

We currently ship within the UK only. Here’s how it works when you order from Lost in the Reads:

Processing Time

  • Orders are usually processed and dispatched within 2–5 business days.

  • We’ll let you know if an item is on back-order or delayed.

Shipping Rates & Methods

  • Standard UK delivery starts at £3.50 per order, calculated at checkout.

  • Free in-store collection is available from our shop in Kingswood, Bristol.

  • For larger/heavier orders (e.g. multiple books or merch bundles), shipping rates may vary, you’ll see the cost before checkout.

Delivery Estimates

  • Standard UK delivery: 3–7 business days from dispatch.

  • Please note: these are estimates. Once your parcel is with Royal Mail or our courier partner, delays are outside our control (especially during peak seasons like Christmas).

Order Tracking

  • Most parcels are sent via Royal Mail. For higher-value orders we may use tracked delivery and provide tracking details once dispatched.

Click & Collect

  • You can choose free Click & Collect at checkout.

  • We’ll email you when your order is ready to pick up in-store.

  • Please collect within 7 days of notification. After that, we may restock your items and issue a refund.

Incorrect or Damaged Orders

  • If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 72 hours at [hello@lostinthereads.co.uk]. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Returns Policy.

Shipping Restrictions

  • At present, we ship within the UK only.

  • We cannot ship to PO Boxes or BFPO addresses.
